Autumn Card with Woven Heirlooms Frame

This is my first ever blog post, so please be kind.  I am going to try to post once a week to start with and see how things go.  Here is a beautiful fall card to present to whomever is hosting your Thanksgiving Day feast (if you're lucky, it won't be you!)   I love the fall colors and the textures I used in this card.  This would be suitable for a host or hostess...

List of Ingredients:
Stamps:  Gather Together pumpkins, leaves and wheat stamps as well as sentiment
Ink:  Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Calypso Coral, Grapefruit Grove, Early Espresso
Cardstock:  Early Espresso, Grapefruit Grove, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla
Accessories:  Woven Heirlooms Oval frame and embossing folder, Stitched Circle die, pumpkin and leaf dies from Gather Together bundle, Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing folder, Tombow glue or adhesive of choice, Stampin Dimensionals, Dark and Light Pumpkin Pie Stampin Blends, Very Vanilla envelope

Dimensions:
Early Espresso:  8 1/2" x 5 1/2 ", scored at 4 1/2"
Very Vanilla:  5 1/4" x 4"  (inside of card), plus scraps for stamping the pumpkins and leaves
Grapefruit Grove:  5 1/4" x 4"
Crumb Cake:  5 1/8" x 3 7/8",  also a piece for the oval frame

Basic Instructions:
1.  Cut and fold card base.  Using Crumb Cake ink, stamp a wheat bunch in the lower left corner of the Very Vanilla cardstock.  Adhere using Tombow glue to the inside of the card.
2.  Cut out and emboss the oval frame from the Woven Heirlooms bundle.  Using a sponge or sponge dauber, sponge some Crumb Cake ink onto the raised portions of the frame for a shabby chic look.
3.  Run the Crumb Cake layer through the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder.  Sponge Crumb Cake ink onto the raised portions of this also.
4.  Stamp pumpkins and leaves onto Very Vanilla scrap and cut out and emboss using dies from the Gather Together set.  Cut out one of the leaves from Pumpkin Pie cardstock.  Color the pumpkins with Dark and Light Pumpkin Pie Stampin'Blends.  Using a sponge or sponge dauber, sponge various colors onto the leaves to resemble fall leaves using the So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Grapefruit Grove and Calypso Coral ink as desired.
5.  Stamp sentiment onto Grapefruit Grove scrap using Early Espresso and cut out with Stitched Circles die.
6.  Adhere Grapefruit Grove and Crumb Cake layers together, then adhere the Grapefruit Grove layer to the card base.
7.  Adhere the oval frame to the center of the card using Stampin Dimensionals.
8.  Arrange pumpkins and leaves at the bottom of the card as desired and adhere some with Stampin Dimensionals and some with Tombow glue to give added dimension.
9. Stamp a bunch of the wheat onto the lower left corner of the envelope or on the flap as desired.  Remember, NO NAKED ENVELOPES!

I hope you enjoy making this card and that your Thanksgiving host/hostess loves it!
