Honey Bee Birthday Card

Hello again everyone!  Hope you had a great Christmas and that you're all ready for the New Year.  Today I am sharing with you a card I created using some products from the new 2020 Mini Catalog as well as from the 2020 Sale-A-Bration catalog.  I think both of these catalogs have some super fun products in them and I am looking forward to getting my ink on with many of these items.  I hope you enjoy this birthday card that uses the Honey Bee stamp set and coordinating DSP and dies.  I think it's super cute.  Here are the details:

List of Ingredients:
Stamps:  Honey Bee, Little Ladybug
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, So Saffron
Cardstock:  Basic Black, So Saffon, Whisper White, Golden Honey DSP, Gold Foil
Accessories:  Detailed Bee Dies, Stampin' Blends in So Saffron Light and Mossy Meadow Light, Wink of Stella, Tombow liquid adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Whisper White envelope

Dimensions:
Card base:  8 1/2" x 5 1/2 ", scored at 4 1/2" – Basic Black
Inside of card:  5 1/4" x 4"  -  Whisper White
First layer:  5 7/8" x  4 1/8"   - So Saffron
Second layer:  3" x 4" – Whisper White and 2 1/4" x 4" of Golden Honey DSP (I used the black background with the gold honeycomb pattern)
Scrap:  Whisper White to stamp the bees (2 small and 1 large), the flowers, the beehive and the sentiment

Basic Instructions:
1.  Cut and fold card base.
2.  Stamp a small bee and one of the flower images onto the Whisper White layer for the inside of the card in the lower right corner.  Color the bee and flower with So Saffron and Mossy Meadow blends, adding Wink of Stella to the bee wings.  Stamp a sentiment if desired.  Adhere this layer to the card base using Snail adhesive.
4.  Adhere the So Saffron layer to the card front.
3.  Cut the Whisper White and DSP layers and adhere to the So Saffron layer, overlapping slightly if necessary.
4.  Die cut out the honeycomb using the gold foil paper and the honeycomb die.  Set aside.
5.  Stamp the bees with Memento Black ink and color the yellow stripes with the light So Saffron Blends.  Stamp the beehive in So Saffron on a scrap of Whisper White as well as two of the flowers, one going toward the right, the other going toward the left.  Color as desired with Stampin Blends (I used Light So Saffron and Light Mossy Meadow).  Use some Wink of Stella on the wings of the bees.  Die cut the bees, the beehive and the flowers with the coordinating dies.
6.  Adhere the beehive just to the left of center above the DSP using Stampin' Dimensionals.
7.  Adhere flowers on either side of the beehive using Tombow Liquid Adhesive.  Adhere the honeycomb to the upper right corner of the card using Tombow Liquid Adhesive.
8.  Adhere the bees (one small one in the left upper corner, one small one climbing on the honeycomb, and the large one on the DSP below the beehive.
9.  Stamp the sentiment and die cut using the smallest Rectangle Stitched die, resizing it as needed.  Adhere the sentiment to the card base on the upper right corner of the DSP below the beehive with dimensionals.
10.  Stamp a small bee and one flower onto the lower right corner of the envelope and color in with blends, using a scrap of cardstock inside the envelope to prevent bleeding through to the back of the envelope.  Use some Wink of Stella on the wings of the bee.
